i just wanted to check in... quickly! i hope!
our home looks like a hoarders house right now. really.
while i was in tampa, with my sweet church family i realized that i'm still grieving the loss.
so if you remember me, pray.
I'll
never forget the trouble, the utter lostness,
the
taste of ashes, the poison I've swallowed.
I
remember it all—oh, how well I remember—
the
feeling of hitting the bottom.
But
there's one other thing I remember,
and
remembering, I keep a grip on hope:
God's
loyal love couldn't have run out, his
merciful
love couldn't have dried up.

Lamentations 3:19-22 MSG
so jeffrey didn't get me anything on my little ;) christmas list.
instead he got me a gorgeous watch! that i love.
and would never have dared to ask for.
and i got him the same... funny!
BUT my father-in-law and jeffrey did make me the sweetest, little bench!
my two-seater, antique table now... fits four. yay!
jeffrey says we need darker colors in our home,
so i went outside of my comfort zone (because i love him...more)
and bought pumpkin patch orange paint! ah!
i got my inspiration from an awesome little restaurant in austin called "tacos & tequilas."
it was the coolest! the food was delicious,
but i was drooling over the interior design more than anything else!
i also made these for some friends that got married,
and i loved them so much- i think i'm going to make us some too!
kay. back to unpacking and cleaning!
p.s. this what (the clean part of) our bedroom looks like:
...
hope you had a very, merry, little christmas.
