we've moved

There are so many memories in this space. The very beginning of life as married lady, a few different homes, a miscarried baby and then baby Ella, my love for graphic design, and family. This blog began as a personal space to keep family and friends updated with silly things like what our apartment looked like, our weekend adventures, or even my Christmas wish list haha.

My heart is a little sad to leave, but excited to see what's in store! I will forever cherish and visit this place. See you on the other side, friends!! I hope it'll still be as personal as this one- I promise it's the same ol' me just in a space that looks a little more professional. :)

11 months

How is it possible that you are a month from being one, my love?! You've been the most amazing blessing to me- other than Jesus and your daddy.

We love you more than words can express and I sometimes fail to show you that. But you are so sweet and patient and gracious with your mommy. You are my most favorite girl in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD. I wouldn't trade being your mommy for anything else.

Everyone loves you too. Really. Everywhere we go people fall in love with you. I don't blame them. You are the sweetest.

And truly the most beautiful baby girl I've ever seen. (I may be biased. ;)) Daddy and I take no credit for and have no pride in that. For we know that you were fearfully and wonderfully made by your creative Heavenly Father that gives life.

I'm praying and begging that one day soon you'll come to know Jesus and that he'll make you more beautiful on the inside than you are on the outside. Because that is what matters, baby girl. It's about your heart. But more importantly, that your heart is for and about Jesus. Praying that He continues to give me joy and contentment in Him, so that I can be an example to you. So that you can know nothing will satisfy like He does, baby. Nothing. There is no greater love than the one He has for us.

Love you SO incredibly much.

psalm 56:3

Yay for another free printable! Thanks so much for suggesting this verse, Stacia! If any one else happens to stumble on this blog feel free to share your favorite verse/quote- it'll keep me practicing calligraphy and you'll get a free printable! :) Much love!

greater things

This weekend I finished tackling a huge, HUGE (read: horrifically daunting) task which was doing part-time data entry for my momma's job. The stack of papers was about Ella's height. Kidding, but it was so much! BUT. I'M. DONE. Woo!
I was SOO thankful for it because I needed it to get a little extra money around here to invest it back into the business.

Right now I'm focusing on the NOBTS holiday market which is a little craft fair at my husband's school. (I participated in it last year, and it gave me just enough confidence to pursue opening my online Etsy shop- within four months of having my first baby. I don't know what I was thinking!) Any who, I can't wait to show you the little goodies!

After that it'll be all about prepping for my sweet baby girl's first birthday (I cannot believe I just wrote that- everyone was right. That went by too fast.), and then I am hoping to have a new logo, a new website, and new products for my 25th birthday (March 11th)! Eeee- that's the goal!!

Greater things are yet to come, friends! I took this verse out of context a bit, but hey it's another freebie. And I'm running out of verses/phrases!

What your favorite quote or bible verse?? I'll make it a printable!

I know I keep going on and on about how much I have to do, so I thought I'd make a little to-do list for you! Because I know you're busy too!

I didn't mean to make that rhyme, but we'll go with it. ;)

10 months!

I didn't do her 9 month update! Whoopsies!

So you get two for one today. ;)

She is soooo beautiful, right?! Photo by my sweet friend, Sarah!

Do you like how her little foot is sticking up? Almost all of the pictures I got of her are like that. Haha. She did not love the grass- nor the pumpkins for that matter. She's a city girl! Daddy's disappointed. ;)

Happy Monday, friends!

crisp in the fall

On account of  the two whole days of amazing, crisp weather we had here in New Orleans ;) - your free printable!

I realized that working on these early in the morning as oppose to way late at night makes a difference! Go figure. :) Also, I plan on doing these weekly until 2014, and then I would like to start adding some handlettered / calligraphy work in the shop! So check back weekly!

Have a sweet weekend!
