happening

In attempt to blog more consistently, I am going to try to do a weekly or biweekly series on what I am working on for the little blessing in my belly. All the way until she is out! Eeeee! Then, I could continue on what being a mommy to her looks like. The good, the bad and the ugly!
We'll call it:

Before the little glimpse of what I am up to, saying that I am head-over-heels excited about all the shades of pink going on all around me is an understatement. I love it so much that I have to constantly remind myself that only one thing is necessary (hence the new blog title).

Luke 10:
38 ... Jesus entered a village. And a woman named Martha welcomed him into her house. 39 And she had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord's feet and listened to his teaching.40 But Martha was distracted with much serving. And she went up to him and said, “Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Tell her then to help me.” 41 But the Lord answered her, “Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things, 42 but one thing is necessary. Mary has chosen the good portion, which will not be taken away from her.”

Praying that He would make me more like Mary as I desire to get things done rather spend time at the Lord's feet.
I've been working on putting that little baby shower together. I know, traditionally, baby showers do not involve the mommy-to-be, but in my situation (aka not quiet having besties in New Orleans and not being near the amazing friends I made in Texas) there ought to be an exception! Plus, if you know me, then you know I love getting to help put all the details together!
Invites. Registries. Crafts. Decorations. Favors. So fun!

Lastly, for those of you who are suckers (like me :)) for sweet little sonogram pictures...

Can't wait to kiss those little lips and toesies!
