although it's been hard to keep the home clean

and dinner ready (sorry babe),

work makes me feel less lonely in Texas. i like that!

i work with really nice ladies.

and the cutest (craziest), little babies. 

they make me miss and want kai, but i love them. 

here's some fun-ness going on in our classroom!

speaking of jeff... can i brag on my guy for a sec?

well we have been trying to wake up at 5:30 am (yikes) to get

some time with Jesus before the day kicks off.

so there have been multiple times that my sweetie

has packed my lunch for me so that i'm not late.

{i am my mother's daughter. fashionably late always. love you momma!}

he even sliced my pineapples and left me a little note once!

also, we drove by my job last week and i told him half jokingly.

"that's where i work... if you ever want to have lunch with me!"

who shows up the next day while i'm trying to put my little ones down for nap time?

we sat in my car and talked.

then he nervously pulled out the most special little gift for me

in remembrance of kai.

can't wait to show it to you!
